Terms of Service
COVID Policy:
All guests will wash their hands at the studio(s) prior to hand application. Masks are optional for all guests.
Tardiness and Cancellations:
Please arrive on time for your private studio appointment. If a guest is more than 10 minutes late without any communicating with the artist (via text or calling), their appointment time/henna services will not be rendered. Guests that are late to their appointments may incur a shorter session as a result due to other guests’ appointments that may be scheduled afterward. I do not honor services with guests that are continuously late, no show or are last minute cancellations. All guests have a one time only opportunity to reschedule any appointment. Rescheduling must be done 48 hours in advance or the guests will lose that appointment and need to begin a new booking. **Please note that this policy also applies to services prepaid with a gift card.
Party/Events: All cancellations received prior to 48 hours before appointment will be given a 50% refund. Any cancellation received less than 48 hours of the scheduled appointment will not be refunded.
Refunds:
Mind Body Henna does not provide refunds on henna services. This includes all services (private appointments, parties/events, and classes). A post partum session will be offered instead if the expectant mother goes into labor before her prenatal session takes place. Please take your time and read the service descriptions carefully to make sure that you’ve booked the best service for yourself. It is the responsibility of the guest to follow all aftercare instructions for get the best possible henna stain.
Henna Stain Outcomes:
Mind Body Henna does not guarantee a particular darkness of henna stain. Reapplications and touch ups of henna designs are not offered. This is due to the aftercare being solely in the hands of the client once the appointment is over. Clear aftercare instructions are provided at the time of service. Please not that it’s possible that certain medical conditions and medications may cause a lighter stain or shorter length of stain on the skin.
All Bookings are Prepaid- No exceptions:
I can answer any questions related to a desired service prior to your appointment. Prepaid appointments helps us ensure a relaxed session where you don’t need to be concerned with handling payment or hidden fees. Everything is taken care of prior order for you can enjoy your henna experience.
Children at appointments:
Childcare should be prearranged for your appointment (unless the child is 10 or older and receiving henna services). Henna sessions are your time. No exceptions for prenatal sessions.
Private and Group Sessions:
Sessions are already predesignated for the appropriate amount of guests. No individual private session is to be shared with another person(s). There is also no session sharing with small groups sessions. For example: Three guests may not share the “Henna Hangout for 2” time slot and opt for smaller designs.
Payment Methods:
The following payments are accepted: major credit cards and cash. No personal checks. All payments are taken online. No payments will be accepted during the time of your appointments. This helps to keep clean records of transactions as well as avoid design smudges while handling payments at the time of the session.
Gratuities:
Tips are not included in our pricing. The standard for the luxury beauty industry is 20% and is greatly appreciated .
Henna Classes:
Classes start on time. Summer henna classes are strictly for people ages 12 and up- no exceptions. All students and parents understand that henna stains the skin temporarily, however henna can permanently stain clothes, surfaces, car interior, and furniture. Mind Body Henna is not responsible for any of the items listed above in your home, car or clothing that may become damaged or stained as result of working with henna that is brought home from henna classes. It is the responsibility of the parent to understand that henna needs to be used in and on areas that can be permanently stained. There are no refunds for henna classes. If you cannot make your class time, you may reschedule to a different date if and only if there is space available. Adult henna classes are for 18 and up only. All above guidelines apply as previously listed.
Location Errors:
Mind Body Henna is not responsible for missed appointments due to client going to the wrong studio location. All email reminders have the correct location so that there is no confusion. Please call me prior to your appointment if there is confusion. Missed appointment/no show will result in loss of appointment and will need a new booking.
